Cat6 S/FTP Patch Cable, Pure 100% Copper, 23 AWG Stranded Cable
To prevent interference and signal loss, extreme shielding is done to the network cable. Cat6 Shielded/Screened Foiled Patch Cables are useful for conditions where proximity to high power, or RMI equipment may result in crosstalk, and it is great for areas where electromagnetic interference may occur.
Our network Cat6 S/FTP patch cables are terminated with premium grade 50 Micron gold plated contacts RJ45 connectors at both ends. The Cat6 S/FTP version is made for Fast Ethernet (10/100BASE-T) and Gigabit Ethernet (1000BASE-T) delivering up to 100 MHz bandwidth. Construction of Unifiber Cat6 S/FTP Snagless Boot Patch Cord
Cat6 S/FTP Patch Cable is composed of four twisted pairs of 100% copper wire, each wrapped with a foil shielding before an overall drain wire and shield is wrapped around the conductors. The conductors are made from stranded cables, each pairs of wires twisted tighter to eliminate crosstalks and ANEXT and covered with foil.
RJ45 plugs are terminated at each end of the snagless booted cable by injection molding. Injection molding not only ensures that the cable is pushed right into the connector, but also makes sure that each individual wires are snug securely and efficiently in place.
What's great with shielded cables is we get the best benefits of a robust and durable cable for harsh environments. Further protection is safely implemented with the strain relief snagless boots at each end that support the RJ45 plugs.
Frequent connection and disconnection may pose strain and breakage to the patch cables. GFC carry Cat6 S/FTP Crossover cables when you want to connect devices without using hubs or switches. Our Cat6 S/FTP crossover cables are shielded and terminated with 50 Micron gold plated contacts RJ45 plugs at each end. With crossover cables, you can easily connect two computers, still keeping great signal integrity.
